Join Pope Francis in praying the Lord's Prayer at 11am Wednesday

Pope Francis has called all Christians to join him in praying the Lord's Prayer (Our Father) at 11am on Wednesday 25th March. He asks that we join together to uphold the universality of prayer, compassion and tenderness through this difficult time encouraging us to “remain united and make our closeness felt – especially with healthcare professionals and those who serve.”

Families may like to gather at this time, light a candle safely together and Pray the Our Father.

 

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done;
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
the power and the glory,
for ever and ever.
